Cole's life is just like a wave. They start out strong and furious, but fade away and become helpless. The wave always comes back, just like Cole's anger comes back and takes control of him.
I think glass because glass can be broken and cant be put back together and just like Cole he cant be put back together form his mom not caring and his dad beating him.
How can glass be put back together after it is broken. you can put the pieces back from where they broke from, but they will never be the same. I think what you tried to say is that Cole is like glass because it can be broken, and after i gets broken i wont be the same. Cole was beat as a kid (The glass broke). He become very angry from that (The glass is put back together but it isnt the same).
I've chosen a cat for my symbolism. Dogs listen to Owners just like other people listen to people when they try to give them advice. Cole is like a cat because he doesn't listen.
A plane could symbolize Coles life because a plane needs support to fly. What I'm trying to say is that Cole needs support to take off.
When the wave goes away it symbolizes Cole after the attack. Left on the ground for so long until he is helped, but after he is helped his anger starts to grow again and he losses it.
I think Cole is like a paper, because since the bear ripped him up he can't be put back together, surgeries could help but not fully like if a paper rips tape cant fix everything.
A few things that could symbolize Cole`s life are a bear, and a rock. A bear is like Cole because it is strong and scary, Cole is strong and scary because when Cole bullies someone, they are probably scared. Cole is also like a rock because it is hard to break, Cole does rarely show his emotions and if he does it is hard to make him
He is like lava when he is angry the lava is hot when he calm the lava cools down
Cole's life is like a car because if you drive it non-stop it runs out of gas and when you so Cole no love he goes mad. Also Cole is like a car because if you ride it non-stop it can also over heat and when Cole over heats he starts getting mad no one wants to be around him.
I think that something else that symbolizes Cole would be a fish because a fish will fall into a trap and then continuously do the same thing again without learning anything from it. Cole is the same way because he isn't learning from any of his mistakes and just keeps on getting in trouble. For example he is constantly getting in trouble but his parents bail him out so he doesn't care, so he keeps on doing it.
I think a piece of chalk can symbolize Cole's life. With chalk when your using it it's messy and gets everywhere, but as your using it it can turn out to make something beautiful.Cole is hard on the outside, but as we get closer to the end of the book he's turning into a better person then he was before.
One thing that can compare to Cole is a Tiger. One connection is Cole"s hanger. When he sees something or gets annoyed boom. The feeling of rage kicks in. With a tiger when it sees it's pray he wants to kill it. It will go to any extent to get what it wants. The Narrator says,"Cole jumped on him and started smashing his head against the sidewalk"(Mikaelsen). They both show no fear of getting what they want.
